I wanted to recommend this fantastic little talk by Bishop N.T. Wright entitled “Paul for Everyone”. It is actually more or less about the Epistle to Philemon. Wright talks about Paul’s embodiment of the Gospel and of the work of Christ in his willingness to mediate between Onesimus and his owner Philemon.
