George Fox Evangelical Seminary student and classmate
Sarah Warnock has started the Dear India Project. In an email, she describes the project as “an effort on my part to raise awareness about human trafficking through the form of a faux pen-pal letter to the country India.”
Part of the Dear India Project consists of weekly blogs of these letters to India, culminating in an actual trip to the beautiful South Asian country.
You can follow this literary and future real-life journey here: Dear India Project.
That’s a neat idea. We just had a conference on this issue here at Western Seminary and several organizations were involved. We linked them up here: http://westernseminaryblog.wordpress.com/2010/08/30/anti-human-trafficking-links/
Most of them are more or less local (i.e. Portland area) but some are broader in focus.
Does Sarah work with any particular organization?
Brian,
I am not aware of any organizations that Sarah is involved with. Those links are really good. I think they may be of use to Sarah.
