I have received one of the best Amazon packages EVER…
I couldn’t believe how easily I talked my wife into letting me buy it either! I did point out that the more e-books I owned the less bookshelves I would require and that seemed to strike a chord. I have downloaded the updated NIV and John Grisham’s new novel The Confession to read. I am amazed at the Kindle’s readability. It is far better on my eyes than the i-pad (which i would have only used for reading anyway).
This was not however, the only good news today. This morning I booked flights and accommodation to here Doug Moo speak in Sydney later this year! I am looking forward to hearing Doug teach on the subject of Justification! It might not be SBL but it will be one big pastor nerd week for me!
Uh-oh, we now have two digital book fanatics blogging here! Between you and Robert this may be the first anti-physical-biblio biblioblog in the blogosphere (say that 10 x’s fast)!
Cool news about Moo!
Don’t with crApple! W00t w0t!
Whoa?
I like my iPhone!
@Mark,
crApple is my name for that company known as Apple computers. They are pure evil. The end.
So cool! My brother got me a Kindle for Christmas, but it’s still in the mail… It’s a late Christmas sort of thing…
@Rod – AWESOME!
Apple haters. Blah. Now I am going to buy an iPad to spite you all.
Yeah waste all of that money to spite us…that’ll show us! 🙂
Hey now, I heard the iPad 2 will have the high resolution screen liken the iPhone and Robert has told me about some perks for the Kindle app as far as note taking and writing is concerned. I just may do it and THEN I WILL BLOG IT!!!! Ha!
Clearly, @Rod can’t be trusted at all.
If you like Kindle (or if you use the Kindle app on the iPad or iPhone or Mac or Blackberry or Android or PC ….) check out KinBoox.com … I just discovered it, and it seems like a cool way to share books with people you have never met. And, best part, totally acceptable by Amazon.com.
Also, the new Grisham book is terrific. I just finished it on my Kindle. 🙂
Wooh! I just got mine today! I’ve already purchased two books… This could be bad for my checkbook :-/…
yes. it is very easy to just buy books!!!
