If you have not yet had a chance to see the recent Biblical Studies Carnival hosted by Matthew Crowe over at A Fistful of Farthings go here. It is nicely organized and it seems to have a lot of good reads. Our blog was mentioned a dozen times or so which is much appreciated.
Also, it appears that we here at Near Emmaus have made the “beloved bibliobloggers” list, also known as the popular vote, for the first time. You can find that list here. This made us the #1 most popular blog written by those who are currently students according to David Stark (see here). Thank you to those who thought our blog worthy of being mentioned!
As I already mentioned we were #3 in the Alexa ranking biblioblog list (see here). This made us the #2 biblioblog in the category of those written by current students (see here). Congrats to Joel Watts for ranking #1 in that category.
On a final, separate note SBL has extended their call for papers to this Friday. So if those extra few days help you make a decision, go here.
Our blog is awesome! We’re awesome.
It’s because of the pictures with the books semi-covering your faces – we can’t stop looking at them and wondering what lies beneath…
