I laugh (to myself) at on-line news papers that allow people to comment on news stories. Other than the people commenting themselves, does anyone actually read the comments (from the news-paper)?
It’s kind of like, “Here’s a news story – Here’s YOUR outlet. Have a say – it’s free, and we’ll mostly ignore what you say while making the public feel like its opinion matters”.
