Last month I presented at the Pacific Northwest Regional Meeting of AAR-SBL-ASOR. I included a handout of the biblical passages I was using. I think it turned out nicely—much better than what I would normally have been able to do with Word. The only regret I have is not being able to underline in the SBL Hebrew font. I have included the handout below.
It looks a lot better than MS Word! 🙂
Hebrew of that length would have been impossible in Word. 🙂
LaTeX (well really underlying TeX) is really the way to go for typesetting foreign languages, mathematics, physics, music and any other content that is not handled by the run-of-the-mill word processor.
(There use to be a time not all that long ago when some universities would only accept a grad students thesis in .tex form.
Your handout turned out nicely.
