Last week I wrote a post where I summarized a lecture given by Candida R. Moss on resurrected bodies (see “Candida Moss revisits the nature of resurrected bodies (and disabilities)”). One part of this lecture explored how we talk about bodies with infirmities/disabilities in this age. To see my summary read the blog post. This post is not about that, but about a couple of other posts by Suzanne McCarthy that continue to explore the subject: “A theology of disability (Part 1)” and “A theology of disability (Part 2)”“A theology of disability: Jean Vanier”.

I have wanted to explore this topic, but if the blog posts are written already we may as well join the conversation there! I think McCarthy has some good discussion starters in the making.
