Update: I have had a handful of solid people inquire already, so I am going to close this opportunity for now.
It appears almost certain that I will begin my doctoral studies this September (if and when I am accepted, fully, I will announce it on this blog). I will need to manage my time more efficiently to be successful, so I am posting this inquiry to see if there is someone who reads this blog who would like to become a contributor. I do have some specific requests though (though I can negotiate):
– It is most preferable if one is a student at a seminary, divinity school, or a graduate program in religious studies (or something akin) or a graduate of one of these.
– It would be preferable if one has blogged or is blogging currently.
– It is essential that one is willing to blog two or three times per week (though weeks with major holidays or something like finals is an exception). Currently, this blog has three contributors, but JohnDave Medina and Daniel James Levy post infrequently.
– It is essential that one is interested in blogging about biblical studies, Christian theology, and/or other areas of study that intersect.
If you would think this is something in which you might be interested please email me at brianleport@gmail.com. If you cannot commit to one of the first two points please explain. The readers of this blog have been very engaging over the years. If you want a place to test your ideas, or share what you are studying, then this may be a good opportunity.
I am interested. I am a PHD student, Anglican priest, blog at redshoeswalking.com, school chaplain and haave contbuted to book.
Glenn,
Thank you for your inquiry, but we have found a couple of people to contribute already. I hope the best for you in your studies and writing!
