I apologize to readers of this blog would may be wondering why I’ve blogged on nothing but blogging this week. I have been working on a paper that I am going to propose soon, and I need to gather information, quickly.
Today, I want to ask readers to tell me in the comments about doctoral students who blogged, especially those who seem to have done a good job at being a doctoral student while maintaining a blog. Also, if you are a reader of this blog who tried to blog while doing doctoral studies, but who discovered that it wasn’t feasible, I’d like to hear from you too.
If my memory serves me correctly, Nijay Gupta blogged pretty consistently as a doctoral student (now at Crux Sola) as did Ben Blackwell (at Dunelm Road). Some doctoral programs have blogs written by several active students, such as Wheaton College’s For Christ and His Kingdom and Trinity College’s (of the University of Bristol) Mosissimus Mose.

I blog, but not consistently. I go through spurts, where there are lulls in my program, or when I want to investigate a certain methodology. Always would like to do it more, but life happens.
Has it been hard to retain readers so that when you blog there is someone who will comment or do you find that people maintain interest in your blog when it isn’t as active?
Off the top of my head, I think Bo Sanders is a doctoral student (Claremont Sch. of Theol?… I SHOULD know), and Tripp Fuller at Claremont Grad School I think… not the seminary). If I note some others, will add them.
