I read an article titled “The Virtual World Project: Touring the Ancient World” that introduced me to a really neat website: The Virtual World Project. Currently, you can tour a large variety of archaeological sites in Israel, Jordan, Greece, and Turkey. If you decide you want to visit Qumran, there is a basic introduction, a sketch of the location, and pictures of a variety of things ranging from a miqveh to a pottery workshop area. If you have the opportunity to browse this website I recommend it.
